Long Beach Bus Side-Swipes Parked Cars

LONG BEACH, CA – A Long Beach Transit bus side-swiped an unknown number of parked cars Monday, authorities said.

It happened around midnight on Pacific Avenue at Anaheim Road, Long Beach police Lt. Abram Yap said.

"The driver was taken to a facility to determine if he was impaired," Yap said. Such testing is standard when a transit driver is involved in an accident, he said.
