Long Beach Fundraiser: Chicken Grilled Cheese With 'Angry Dust'
Each limited-time, spicy, specialty sandwich sold in September benefits Long Beach Dog Haus restaurant's "No Kid Hungry" campaign.

LONG BEACH, CA — Continuing its revolving "No Kid Hungry Chef Collaboration Series," Dog Haus teamed up with the chef of Bubu’s Birds and Burgers to sell a spicy, one-of-a-kind Bubu’s Hot Chicken Grilled Cheese during the month of September, with $1 of every sandwich sold going to the No Kid Hungry charity.
Crafted exclusively for the Dog Haus collaboration with Chef Eric Greenspan, owner of Bubu’s Birds and Burgers, the Hot Chicken Grilled Cheese features a fried chicken breast – dunked and coated in Bubu’s chili oil and sprinkled with "Angry Dust" (a very spicy, secret seasoning blend) — American cheese, cheese sauce, chipotle aioli, Haus slaw and pickles, served on grilled King’s Hawaiian buns.
“I’m honored to be a part of this year’s Chef Collaboration Series and for my sandwich to help raise funds for No Kid Hungry,” said Greenspan, cookbook author, Food Network TV personality and owner of Los Angeles-based Bubu’s Birds and Burgers, known as the virtual brand Alt/Grub/Faction. “Bubu’s Hot Chicken Grilled Cheese on King’s Hawaiian buns … you can’t go wrong with that. I have no doubt that Dog Haus guests are going to love it.”
