Long Beach Launches Small Business Workshop Series
The free three-part series will focus on providing tools and skills to help business owners and entrepreneurs.
From DLBA:The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA), is excited to announce, in partnership with Fuller Management Corporation and Stone Law & Consulting, the Winter Small Business Workshop Series, launching Saturday, January 26.
“As a resource for Downtown businesses, the DLBA is always identifying opportunities to provide its stakeholders with relevant and timely information that will help them establish, expand or reposition their business,” stated Austin Metoyer, DLBAs Economic Development & Policy Manager.
The free three-part series is focused on providing the tools and skills that will help business owners and entrepreneurs conceptualize strategic planning, legal structures, brand presence, independent contractor law and more. Bringing a balanced blend of small business development tools and legal resources together, each workshop will be conducted in partnership with Fuller Management Corporation and Stone Law & Consulting.

“My vision for this workshop series is that several businesses will have the opportunity to receive pertinent business information and the necessary tools to sustain the positive, identify additional opportunity, and to leave feeling amply prepared to plan for a successful year ahead,” stated Kena Fuller of Fuller Management Corporation.
“The workshops I focus on will provide practical and foundational information filled with best practice tips. Attendees will walk away with a stronger grasp on how to better protect their business from a legal perspective,” stated Ashleigh Stone of Stone Law & Consulting.

Each workshop will be approximately 90-minutes in length and will occur on Saturday January 26, February 23, and March 30. The series will meet at CommonGrounds Workspace located at 145 W Broadway, in Downtown Long Beach beginning at 9 AM. Two hours free parking is available at The Streets parking structures A, B, or C located between Pine Ave and Long Beach Blvd., and Third and Sixth Streets in the heart of DTLB.

Registration is free and available to all businesses that currently exist in Downtown Long Beach, entrepreneurs who are considering establishing themselves in the Downtown.
