Man Killed In Long Beach Drive-By Shooting

The man, in his 20s, died at a hospital, according to the coroner's office.

LONG BEACH, CA – A man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Long Beach, authorities said Tuesday. The shooting occurred about 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Wesley Drive, said Long Beach police Sgt. Brad Johnson.

The man, in his 20s, died at a hospital, according to the coroner's office. Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of his relatives. Police believe the shooting may have been gang-related, Johnson said.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call police.
