Motorcyclist Dead After Crash On Long Beach Freeway Connector

The 45-year-old motorcyclist, a resident of Lynwood, was riding a 1987 BMW motorcycle.

LONG BEACH, CA – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic crash on a freeway connector road in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol said Tuesday.

The crash on the connector road from the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway to the Artesia (91) Freeway occurred a little after 9:10 a.m. Monday, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The motorcyclist, a 45-year-old resident of Lynwood riding a 1987 BMW motorcycle, apparently struck a wall on the connector road and the rider was last seen on the right shoulder of the connector road.

A representative from the coroner's office was dispatched to the scene at 10:24 a.m. Monday.
