Overturned Big Rig Causes 405, 710 Connector Closure
A SIGALERT was released midday Tuesday after a big rig overturned on the Northbound 405.
LONG BEACH, CA — The northbound 405 to the southbound 710 connector was closed midday Tuesday after a big rig overturned, officials say.
The semi-truck, carrying 40,000 pounds of cargo, was heading toward Long Beach when it overturned, CalTrans reported. No injuries were reported by California Highway Patrol, who issued the SIGAlert.
Drivers should seek an alternate route into Long Beach until at least 3 p.m., they said. Delays were expected.
