Police Look For 2 Women Who Snatched Long Beach Woman's Wallet
Authorities sought the public's help on Sunday to find two women who forcefully took a woman's wallet in Long Beach.
LONG BEACH, CA — A woman was walking down the street in Long Beach when two other women approached her and forcefully took her wallet from her in a violent scuffle last week, officials said. Police were asking for the public's help to identify the suspects on Sunday.
Officers were called to the 300 block of East Peace Street at a little before 12:50 p.m. Thursday, regarding a robbery.
As the two women approached her and tried to take her purse, the woman held onto her belongings as the suspects "battered" her, police said, before taking her wallet and fleeing on foot.
