Welcome to the Long Beach Patch Daily Newsletter, the easiest and most enjoyable way to know what’s happening down the street and around the corner.
The founder of the Congressional Cup match race, William Dalessi, has died. In its latest quest to vaccinate more people, the city will offer vaccines on Thursday evening. It’ll be right in front of the Aquarium, with a free evening admission for that day. If common sense and the need for herd immunity couldn’t sway you, free tickets to see the fish might. Finally, the names of LB’s 19 Distinguished Teachers have been made known.
