Stroll & Savor is the unofficial kick-off to the season of eating outside in Belmont Shore, and it's just in time this year as the evening's warm up. The 2013 al fresco dining en masse starts Wednesday and Thursday nights with dozens of food merchants selling their wares on Second Street.
 Hours are 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
 The popular event draws eaters from all over Long Beach and beyond as Belmont Shore eateries serve up plates of specialties for pre-purchased tickets. Those are already on sale and you can avoid the inevitable ticket line by getting to the following merchants in advance. We Olive, La Strada, Sweet Jills, The Beach on 2nd, Salon Soma, Shore Business Center & Roe Fish Market. On the night of the Stroll, you will find the tickets sold outside Chase Bank.
Live performances: Wednesday, May 15th- Live entertainment on Corona & 2nd (5200 Block of 2nd): Dad Company. Also, The Jim Fisk Band will entertain on LaVerne and Second Street 2nd Street outside Fromex. Thursday, May 16th - Live entertainment on Corona at Second Street by Band of Others, and The Jim Fisk Band returns at LaVerne.
