Suspect Opens Fire On Two Men In Parked Car In Long Beach
It's unclear what precipitated the shooting, but gang detectives responded to investigate, police said.
LONG BEACH, CA — A gunman opened fire Tuesday on two men in a parked vehicle in Long Beach, but no one was struck.
Officers located the victims after responding about 5:40 p.m. to a shots fired call in the 3000 block of Santa Fe Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
"The preliminary investigation revealed that a male adult suspect approached the vehicle, shot at the vehicle and fled the scene," according to a police statement. "Neither victim was struck by gunfire, however they did sustain minor non-life threatening injuries."
