Woman Suspected of Strong Arm Robbery
Witnesses originally reported seeing a person with a gun, but police found alleged robber instead at a Long Beach park.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested Monday at Drake Park after Long Beach Police were called to the location to investigate a person brandishing a gun.
Claudia Beatriz Lira was booked for robbery and battery after investigating officers determined a strong arm robbery had occurred, according to the Long Beach Post.
The loss was returned to the victim and Lira was being held on $50,000 bail.
