Women’s Business Council Expands ‘Experience Speaks’ Series
For the first time the Women's Business Council expands its annual 'Experience Speaks' conference to three online events starting on Oct. 15

For the first time the Women’s Business Council (WBC) of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is expanding their annual “Experience Speaks” conference to three unique online events coming this fall. The Chamber provides leadership, education and advocacy to help the Long Beach area to thrive in the 21st century. Registration is now open at www.lbchamber.com.
“The Long Beach Chamber’s Women’s Business Council is focused on supporting our members and the community with resources to help with their personal and professional growth,” said WBC President Heather Summers of LBS Financial Credit Union. “As more businesses pivot to online sales, they need the tools and insights to be successful. In response to this need, we are excited to offer our first ever virtual ‘Experience Speaks’ series in October and November led by dynamic marketers and professional speakers with proven track records to help our members navigate these unique times.”

- Building & Maintaining Emotional Connections In a Virtual Environment; Thursday, October 15 from 4-5 p.m.
Business Etiquette Expert and Emotional Intelligence Expert, Kerri Garbis of Ovation Communications will present “Building & Maintaining Emotional Connections In a Virtual Environment.” Garbis has trained hundreds of executives internationally on presentation skills, storytelling for business, etiquette, and emotional intelligence.

- Confidently Create Your Online Presence to Increase Your Impact & Sales; Wednesday, October 21 from 4-5 p.m.
Brand Specialist and Author of Hot Flashes, Carpools, and Dirty Martinis—The Quintessential Guide for Turning Midlife into PrimeTime, Juju Hook will lead “Confidently Create Your Online Presence to Increase Your Impact & Sales.” A corporate brand specialist for more than three decades, Hook’s mission is to re-brand middle age for women by helping them create their own strategic brands.

The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Business Council provides programs that focuses on shedding light on relevant issues that affect Long Beach businesses and subject matter that is intriguing and important to all valued members of the community. Additionally, the Council strives to create a positive, welcoming environment for all members of the community.
Tickets for members are $10 per event or all three events for $25. For non-members, tickets are $20 per event or all three events for $50.
