34-Year-Old Man Killed In LA Cienega Hit-And-Run

Authorities believe the driver who killed Abdoul Diallo​ was behind the wheel of a white camper or RV.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities are investigating the hit and run death of a 34-year-old Inglewood resident today. He was struck by a recreational vehicle or camper, and authorities hope someone will come forward with information about the crash.

Abdoul Diallo was killed early Thursday morning in a crash on La Cienega Boulevard near the San Diego (405) Freeway in Los Angeles. The crash occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. on La Cienega at Imperial Highway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Diallo was crossing outside a crosswalk on La Cienega when he was struck by a southbound vehicle that left him for dead. He died at the scene, according to the LAPD.

The vehicle that struck him was described as a white recreational vehicle or camper, police said.
