8 Injured In Van Nuys Boulevard Pileup
Firefighters rescued several people trapped in the wreckage Monday night.
VAN NUYS, CA — Several people were trapped in a four-car pileup in Van Nuys that left eight people injured Monday night.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, Six adults were taken to hospitals, with two declining to be taken to a hospital. The crash, which occurred at about 10 p.m. Monday in the 7400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard near Valerio Street, also involved two parked cars, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to free several patients, Prange said.
