Amber Alert: Kidnapped Girl, 8, Found In Orange County, LAPD Says
Aleigha Stevenson, 8, was allegedly kidnapped by her mother and three men, according to the LAPD.

LOS ANGELES, CA — An 8-year-old girl allegedly abducted in Los Angeles by her mother was found Wednesday morning, and detectives detained a woman whom they declined to identify.
According to the LAPD, 8-year-old Aleigha Stevenson was abducted by her mother Kera Stevenson and three men in the middle of the night. Stevenson did not have custody of her daughter, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Aleigha, and she was found a short time later in Santa Ana FOX11, reported.
The LAPD said that, around 1:55 a.m., officers responded to a radio call of a "domestic violence restraining order" in the 2800 block of West 42nd Street. When officers arrived, Kera's father told them that his ex-wife, with whom he is locked in a custody battle, showed up at his house at about 1:20 a.m. with three men. One of the men forced his way into the house, and they fled with the child, according to the LAPD.

According to the police statement, they left the scene in two vehicles — a 2004 dark-colored Chevy Suburban, California license plate 8UIB679, and a black 2017 BMW 320, with Oklahoma plate EGU358. The Suburban was recovered in San Bernardino County shortly after 9 a.m.
The girl was described as Black, 4 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was believed to be wearing pink and white pajamas.

The woman, who is 29, was described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes.
