Attempt Murder Suspect Caught On Video In Los Angeles

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department's Mission Area detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in a violent attack.

On Sunday, June 20, 2021, around 7:00 p.m., an attempt murder occurred at the 14700 block of Parthenia Street. The victim was standing inside of the video store when the suspect challenged him to a fight. During the fight, the victim's ankle was fractured which caused him to be unable to stand. The suspect walked away then returned armed with a knife and stabbed the victim while he laid on the ground.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local area hospital in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male approximately 30-years-old with long brown hair. He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
