The 94-year-old who hosted the daytime game show for decades was taken by ambulance to the hospital, according to reports.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- The longtime host of the popular daytime game show "The Price is Right" Bob Barker was taken to the hospital by ambulance Monday afternoon, according to multiple media reports. TMZ reported the beloved 94-year-old former host was taken into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for "serious back pain."
Officials with the Los Angeles Fire Department would not confirm Barker was transported to the hospital.
TMZ, which published photos of what appeared to be Barker on a stretcher, said "He was sitting up on a stretcher, and seemed responsive, as they wheeled him into the emergency room."

"His manager tells us, Bob woke up Monday morning with a major flare in back pain. His family decided to call in the professionals to transport him to the hospital ... rather than risk it themselves," the celebrity news site wrote.
Barker hosted the game show from 1972 to 2007. He previously hosted a game show titled "Truth or Consequences" and also had his own radio show.
