Body Found On 210 Freeway Triggers Rush Hour SigAlert

Portions of the Foothill (210) Freeway were closed in Pasadena Tuesday morning while authorities investigated the discovery of a body.

PASADENA, CA — Authorities on Tuesday were investigating the discovery of a body found along the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena.

The body was found at 5:25 a.m. along the Foothill Freeway near the transition road where the Foothill Freeway branches off into the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway, said California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi.

Investigators did not release details about the age or gender of the persno nor how the body came to be along the road.

The agency issued a Sigalert shutting down the roadway at the southbound Fair Oaks Avenue off-ramp, Polizzi said. All lanes were reopened at about 7:50 a.m.
