Body Of Los Angeles Man Recovered In Lake Elsinore

The 38-year-old man, who was jet skiing on the lake Sunday drowned went into the water to retrieve a lost item.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The body of a Los Angeles man who drowned after going into the water at Lake Elsinore has been recovered.

Cadmiel Ahsad McAdoo, 38, was discovered Tuesday around 3 p.m. by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Dive Team.

McAdoo was on the lake Sunday, but shortly before 6:30 p.m. he got off his jet ski and went into the water to retrieve a lost item.

Once in the lake, he appeared to be in distress, went underwater and never resurfaced, witnesses told Lake Elsinore Boat Patrol deputies. Sheriff's Sgt. Deanna Pecoraro said she could not confirm whether McAdoo was wearing a life vest when he went into the water.

A search was conducted, but the man's body was not found until Tuesday.
