Bruce Willis' Die-Hard Mask Stance Bites Him With A Vengeance
After being booted from a Los Angeles Rite Aid for not wearing a mask, and widely mocked on social media, Bruce Willis apologized Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Actor Bruce Willis apologized Tuesday for refusing to wear a mask at a Rite Aid store in Los Angeles despite the city's mask mandate.
The die-hard mask stance got the "Die Hard" star booted from the pharmacy Sunday. While shopping at the pharmacy, Willis refused to wear a mask or pull the bandana around his neck over his nose and mouth, Page Six reported. A photo from the kerchief kerfuffle was circulated on social media and widely scorned in Los Angeles, where more than 200 people are dying daily from the coronavirus.
The 65-year-old action star is currently appearing on the small screen in a DieHard car battery commercial, and a slew of negative headlines Tuesday prompted him to issue a statement about the incident.

In a statement to People magazine, Willis called it "an error in judgment."
"Be safe out there everyone and let's continue to mask up," he said.

Wonder how the @riteaid employee approached this? "We have an unbreakable mask on rule. I don't have a sixth sense for this, but your mask isn't on. I'm no boyscout either. It'll be armageddon if you don't fix it in a split second."

I remember when Bruce Willis was so cool, Tony Amato on Miami Vice, David Addison on Moonlighting, now this, Bruce Willis, asked to leave a Rite Aid, for not wearing a mask

Bruce Willis went into a Rite Aid and was asked to leave cause he wouldn’t wear a mask. What a “Cop Out” he might end up in the “Trauma Center” with a “Death Wish” and could “Die Hard” cause he’s not “Unbreakable” without a “Sixth Sense”

I'm stunned. Bruce Willis doesn't have a personal shopper to go to Rite Aid? https://t.co/2yjdETX2b0
