Coachella 2019 Lineup: From Ariana Grande To Idris Elba (PHOTOS)

INDIO, CA — The full lineup for the 2019 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival includes headliners Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande, according to organizers of the annual event in Indio.

The official lineup was announced on the festival's official Twitter page and website. The festival is slated for the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21 at its usual venue, the Empire Polo Grounds.

Ariana Grande retweeted the announcement and wrote, "humbled and excited as all hell."

Other artists in the star-studded lineup include Janelle Monae, Solange, Khalid, The 1975, Kid Cudi, Weezer and Zedd.

Tickets go up for sale at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, and are expected to sell out.

Coachella Fun Fact: Diplo previously performed at Coachella's Sahara Tent in 2005 and 2008, making this the DJ's third appearance at the musical festival.

Fun Fact: Tame Impala played Coachella's Outdoor Theater in 2011 and 2013 and then went on to play the main stage in 2015.

This year will be the band's fourth time performing and their first time headlining.

Idris Elba

Fun Fact: While many know Elba for his acting roles, Billboard revealed that the star has been DJing since his early teen years.

Fun Fact: This will be Solange's second time performing at the festival, as she previously played in the Gobi Tent at Coachella 2015.

Bad Bunny

Fun Fact: Bad Bunny was born with the name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.

Weezer

Fun Fact: Weezer played the main Coachella stage way back in 2001 and then again in 2005, making this year the group's third time at the festival.

J Balvin

Aphex Twin

Fun Fact: Aphex Twin played over a decade ago at Coachella 2008 in the Sahara Tent.

Billie Eilish

Wiz Khalifa

Fun Fact: Wiz Khalifa first played the festival's main stage back in 2011 when Kanye West headlined. Khalifa appeared again a year later in 2012 as a guest for headliners Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Fun Fact: While this marks Grande's first time as a Coachella headliner, the pop diva previously made made an appearance in 2018 during Kygo's set.

Fun Fact: The DJ is no stranger to the Colorado desert, as he played the Sahara Tent in 2012 and 2014 before taking on the Outdoor Theater in 2016.

Khalid

Fun Fact: This marks the musician's fourth time at Coachella after playing in the Sahara Tent in 2013, 2014 and again in 2017.

Pusha T

Fun Fact: Pusha T played the festival way back in 2013 at the Gobi Tent.

Fun Fact: Gucci Mane played the Sahara Tent's stage at Coachella 2017, making this year his second go around.
