Dancing with the Stars' Carrie Ann Inaba Sickened By Coronavirus

Carrie Ann Inaba, a "Dancing With The Stars" judge and "The Talk" co-host used her illness as a reminder to take the pandemic seriously.

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - "Dancing with the Stars" judge and "The Talk" co-host Carrie Ann Inaba said Thursday she's contracted the coronavirus, and it's left her with a fever, a bad cough and "lots of aches and pains."

The 52-year-old entertainer confirmed she has tested positive for COVID-19 and is quarantining at home. In an Instagram post, she said she is "resting and taking care of myself." She shared her experience with the coronavirus to remind people to follow precautions to protect themselves from the virus.

"I have been in a very safe environment following all the guidelines and safety protocols and it still found its way to me," she said. "So, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season. Wear your masks, socially and physically keep your distance and wash your hands. Take care everyone. and I'll keep you updated on my journey."
