Did You Feel It? Santa Barbara Earthquake Rattles Southland

Residents reported shaking across Los Angeles and as far south as Irvine stemming from a small earthquake epicentered near Santa Barbara.

SANTA BARBARA, CA — A small quake rattled the central coast and Southern California Wednesday afternoon.

The magnitude 3.3 quake struck at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday six miles southeast of Santa Barbara, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Residents reported the shaking as far south as Irvine, all along the coastline, and as far inland as Rialto, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
