L.A. Brusher Scorches Less Than An Acre

Firefighters in L.A. were battling a brush fire that was threatening homes near the Tarzana area.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters contained a brush fire on Sunday that was slowly burning in Tarzana was possibly threatening an unknown number of homes, according to Margaret Stewart, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The small blaze had scorched three-quarters of an acre under light wind conditions in the 4800 block of North Topeka Drive, Stewart said.

No other details were immediately available.
