LAPD Search Shuts Down Ventura Boulevard
LA Police officers have shut down a portion of Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana where they are checking vehicles but will not say why.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A portion of Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana has been shut down while police search for a suspect in the area.
Officers set up a perimeter, shutting down the area around Ventura Boulevard and Amigo Avenue, said Officer William Cooper, an LAPD spokesman. Nearly two hours into the search, the LAPD would not reveal what the suspect is wanted for, according to Cooper.
The incident was first reported around 12:30 p.m. Witnesses reported seeing police searching vehicles leaving the Whole Foods Market at the Village Walk Shopping Center.
