Man Fatally Hit By Metro A Line Train ID'd By Authorities
The victim, a 36-year-old man, was walking on the right-of-way when he was hit by the train last week.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities Monday identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a Metro A Line train in South-Central Los Angeles.
Roberto Salceda, 36, was hit by the train on the A Line -- formerly known as the Blue Line -- about 6:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East Washington Boulevard and died at a hospital, according to the coroner's office and the Los Angeles Fire Department. His home town was not known.
Salceda was walking on the right-of-way when he was struck by the train, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
