Manuela Restaurant Debuts Garden Venue In DTLA
Just in time for springtime, al fresco dining, the downtown Los Angeles eatery opens its new outdoor space with cocktail bar.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Manuela, a restaurant in downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District, on Friday will open its new al fresco dining venue, The Garden at Manuela, a cozy, outdoor space extended into the establishment's gardens with seating for 33, a bar with specialty cocktails and an atmosphere surrounded by both nature and the gallery setting's street art.
The menu will feature Southern California-inspired dishes created by Executive Chef Kris Tominaga, plus a craft cocktail menu, including spring-inspired sangrias, by Beverage Director Niki Kotantoulas.

- Chili de Arbol Chicken with white BBQ Sauce, bread and butter pickles ($15)
- Garlic Shrimp with Pencil Cob grits ($18)
- Baby Lettuces with pickled carrots, red onion, and dill yogurt dressing ($12)
- Pinto Beans with pickled jalapeno, queso fresco, and chips ($12)
- Churros with cinnamon sugar ($10)
Manuela management designed the setting as a daytime dining oasis with bright yellow tables and chairs, and for dusk ambiance with twinkling lights.
The Garden at Manuela will be open for walk-ins for Friday dinners (5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.) and for Saturday and Sunday brunches and dinners (2 p.m. - 9 p.m.). Seating is first-come, first-served, and tables will be socially distanced to comply with Los Angeles County’s current COVID-19 regulations, staff said.
