New FinTech Makes A Fashionable First Impression

New digital banking and financial health platform, Ahead, made a fashionable first impression in LA this weekend, giving Angelenos first dibs on exclusive merch from some of the most sought after names in streetwear. The Oakland based brand headed to Fairfax Avenue to debut its ‘Ahead for All’ Capsule Collection with exclusive pieces designed by Distortedd, Lauren Halsey, Coco + Breezy, Harun Intl and Young Lyxx.

The collection, which features an assortment of hoodies, tees, sweatshirts and crewnecks, combines each designer's artistic style with the brand’s ethos of community, culture and inclusion. Local twin DJs and featured designers, Coco & Breezy, were among those in attendance to check out their merch, mingle and bring the beats. All purchases went a good cause, with 100 percent of proceeds donated to support economic growth and inclusion in underserved communities throughout California via three influential youth organizations: Gameheads, Summaeverythang and Streetcode Academy.

The two-day pop up experience, presented by disruptive creative agency Fairfax Studios, also featured on-site giveaways including a chance to win limited edition Honda SUPREME Dirt Bike.
