SigAlert Cleared: 2 Killed In 405 Freeway Crash
Two people were killed on the northbound 405 Freeway overnight in Van Nuys.
VAN NUYS, CA — A Sigalert that lasted for hours on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Van Nuys was canceled Wednesday before the start of the morning rush hour.
Two people died at the scene of a crash on the northbound 405 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard off-ramp just before midnight, California Highway Patrol Officer Dion Conley said.
No further details were available, Conley said.

According to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department, paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to the location at 11:59 p.m. However, they did not take anyone to the hospital.
A SigAlert was issued for the far right lane at Burbank Boulevard for the crash investigation and cleanup. The lanes were reopened about 4:50 a.m.
