SigAlert: Crash Blocks Several Lanes Of 10 Freeway In Pomona
Commuters were advised to avoid the 10 Freeway in Pomona during the afternoon rush hour Friday.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Drivers were advised to avoid the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Pomona during the evening rush hour Friday after a big rig caught fire and a motorcycle crash shut down several lanes in the same area.
The truck was on fire on the shoulder of the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Fairplex Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The number four-lane will be closed for about an hour until 5 p.m., and a SigAlert was issued by the California Highway Patrol.

Then, just before 4:30 p.m., officers were called to respond to a report of a motorcycle crash in the same area that left a rider pinned beneath a truck, according to the CHP. That crash left the 1, 2, and 3 lanes blocked for an unknown duration.
