SigAlert: Motorcycle Crash Ties Up 405 Freeway at Sepulveda Pass
The Sepulveda Pass is backed up for miles due to a pileup on the southbound side of the San Diego (405) Freeway at Getty Center Drive.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A three-vehicle pileup involving a motorcycle shut down several lanes of the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred at about 8:15 a.m. near Getty Center Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP issued a SigAlert for the area expected to last until 9:15 to 9:30 a.m.
The crash backed up traffic for miles during the morning rush hour, and commuters are advised to avoid the area. There was no immediate word on the injuries from the crash.
