SigAlert: Pileup Shuts Down 110/405 Freeway Transition

CARSON, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert Monday morning for the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway to the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in the Carson area following a multi-car pileup.

The SigAlert was expected to last until shortly before 9 a.m., according to the CHP. A crash involving at least one car and two semi-trucks was reported shortly before 6 a.m. Monday, blocking the entire transition road, according to the CHP.

Crews continued to work throughout the morning rush hour to remove debris and disabled vehicles from the transition lanes.
