Small Earthquake Rattles Southland
Residents in West LA and the South Bay reported feeling the quake.

LOS ANGELES, CA (CNS) — A small earthquake rattled much of West LosAngeles and the South Bay today, but there were no immediate reports of anydamage or injuries. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck at 5:08 p.m.and had a magnitude of 3.4.
The quake was centered 2.5 miles north-northwest of El Segundo and 2.6miles west-southwest of Inglewood. On the USGS website, residents reported feeling the quake in an areacovering the bulk of the westside, as far south as Rancho Palos Verdes, northto the area of North Hollywood and stretching from Santa Monica to East LosAngeles.
