Small Quake Rattles High Desert

A small earthquake Monday night rattled the High Desert community of Pearblossom.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A magnitude 3.0 earthquake epicentered in the Pearblossom area rattled residents out of bed Monday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck southwest of the Pearblossom area at 11:38 p.m. Residents reported feeling the temblor throughout the High Desert area.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
