SuperLotto Ticket With 5 Winning Numbers Sold In LA County
One number shy of the jackpot, the ticket is still worth $11,259.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A lucky lotto player in Los Angeles County fell one number shy of winning the SuperLotto Plus Jackpot Wednesday, but that person will still walk away with $11,259 for getting five of the winning numbers.
There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Wednesday evening's SuperLotto Plus drawing and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing will grow to $50 million. There were, however, four tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number. Each of those tickets are worth $11,259, according to the California Lottery.
The winning ticket sold in Los Angeles County was purchased at Liquor Plus at 14788 Beach Boulevard in La Mirada.

Two winning tickets were sold in Orange County at Valero at 14501 Red Hill Avenue in Tustin and at Valley Liquors at 2429 West Edinger Avenue in Santa Ana. Another was sold at a convenience store in Vacaville.

The winning numbers from Wednesday's drawing were 1, 6, 8, 23, 42 and the Mega number was 12. The jackpot was $49 million.
The drawing was the 43rd since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 41,416,353, according to the California Lottery.
