Teens Disappear With Mom's Car During Road Trip
Police are asking for help finding two teenage girls who disappeared after their mother pulled over following a road trip argument.
NORTH HILLS, CA — Authorities are asking for help bringing home two teenage girls last seen in North Hills where they disappeared with their mother's car following an argument with her.
The 15 and 14-year-old sisters were last seen before sunrise on Monday following an argument between one of them and her mother. The pair were last seen in the area of Nordhoff Street and Aqueduct Avenue.
According to police, the argument took place after their mother pulled off the San Diego (405) Freeway at the Nordhoff Street exit around 5 a.m. Monday, police said. The woman stepped away from the car and she returned to find her 2014 Dodge Charger was gone with the girls inside, police said.

Brenda is a 15-year-old Latina who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall. She weighs approximately 140 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue pants. Angie is a 14-year-old Latina who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall. She weighs approximately 125 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and grey sweat pants.
The car they were in is white with black racing stripes on the hood, tinted windows and black rims. The family was headed from San Diego to Oakland, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the two girls was asked to call Devonshire Division detectives at 818-832-0609.
