Trona Earthquake Measures 3.1; Did You Feel It?

TRONA, CA — A mid-morning earthquake struck near Trona on Sunday morning, The USGS says that it measured 3.1 based on preliminary reports.

The quake was felt around 8 a.m. on Sunday.

The USGS places it around 10 miles from Trona and 15 miles from Ridgecrest.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries.

Trona and the surrounding area were hit hard over the summer. When 6.4 ad 7.1 quakes struck within days of each other.
