Unique Summer Theater Workshop for Grades 7-12
Holocaust Museum LA in Conjunction With the Wallis Presents 'Voices of History,' a Student Theater Workshop for Aspiring Dramatists

Holocaust Museum LA, in partnership with the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, presents “Voices of History,” a unique summer theater workshop July 12-July 27, 2021, for students in grades 7-12. The workshop will meet each day from 9 a.m.-noon virtually with the possibility of a hybrid program.
“Voices of History” unites students with Holocaust survivors who share their personal stories. Working with theater mentors, the students write, direct and act in scenes inspired by the survivors’ experiences. The production will teach students Holocaust history, the power of perseverance, the danger of hateful rhetoric, and the importance of acceptance and tolerance.
The final production on July 27 will be virtual and produced by the Wallis.
