LOS ANGELES, CA — Vice President Kamala Harris will spend the night at her home in Brentwood for the second time this week. Residents on the Westside are advised to expect delays as the vice-presidential motorcade travels to and from Los Angeles International Airport.

She is expected to arrive at LAX sometime after noon. Her visit over the last weekend led to the shutdown of the San Diego (405) Freeway as she traveled between her home and the airport. Harris will be on the West Coast to celebrate Independence Day weekend as well as the progress against the coronavirus in Nevada Saturday. President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden and members of the cabinet will blanket the nation to celebrate.

Harris will be flying into LA just hours after a suspicious package triggered a bomb scare and Terminal 2 evacuation at LAX. The package was later determined not to be a threat.
