Woman Lying In The Road Struck And Killed By LA Sheriff's Vehicle
According to authorities, the woman was lying in the roadway early Friday morning when the sheriff's vehicle struck her.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department vehicle struck and killed a woman who apparently was lying on a roadway in South Los Angeles Friday, authorities announced.
According to authorities, the woman was about 40 to 50-years-old. She was hit by the westbound vehicle about 6:35 a.m. on Imperial Highway near Success Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. She died at the scene.
Authorities did not immediately release information about her identity. The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
