You Don't Need An Appointment At These 3 COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics
Anyone 16 and older who lives or works in Los Angeles County can get a coronavirus vaccine at one of three walk-in clinics.
PALMDALE, CA — It's still not easy to get an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine in Los Angeles, but now anyone who works or lives in the county can get a shot without an appointment in the High Desert, the county Department of Public Health announced Wednesday.
Three walk-in clinics in Palmdale and Lancaster include two Metrolink stations, making them accessible to residents who can't drive out to the desert. The clinics will offer free vaccines at:
- Palmdale Oasis Recreation Center, 3850 E. Avenue S;
- Palmdale Metrolink Station, 39000 Clock Tower Plaza Drive; and
- Lancaster Metrolink Station, 44812 Sierra Highway.
The Metrolink locations can only administer vaccines to people aged 18 and older. Those sites operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. The Oasis Recreation Center site runs seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
