Care Packages Given to Seniors at Drive-By Fair

Hosted by Westmont Living ahead of new community opening this fall

Staff at the Information Center, for the soon-to-open, Westmont Living of Milpitas, held a drive-by fair for local seniors. Those who drove up received a specially-prepared care package of “little things” that to make a senior’s life a little nicer. Each package held; sanitizer and sanitizer wipes, a face mask, a pill box, hand lotion, lip balm, a first aid kit, stationary pad and pen, cookies and candy. According to Sheryl Bravo, Executive Director, “we had such a great time that we will be doing a drive-by event again, only we will have groceries with fresh as produce for them to take home. The Westmont Living Milpitas Community, opens in later this year, with 207, studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes for independent, assisted living and memory care residents with underground parking. Nurses will be staffed 24/7. The building’s floor plans and proposed unit layout is now available at the Information Center. Advance unit reservations are now being accepted.
