At Chamber Annual Mixer, New Board Members Installed
Google hosted the event at its Mountain View campus.
KMVT's Executive Director Shelley Wolfe and Owner of Larry's Autoworks, Larry Moore have been installed as new board members of the Chamber of Commerce of Mountain View.
The installation took place Wednesday, July 10 at Google. Chamber Board Member John Igoe, director of design and construction at Google, served as the host.
"We've been here almost fifteen years in Mountain View," Igoe said, "And really consider Mountain View our home."
Chamber President and CEO Oscar Garcia gave the more than 150 attendees an overview of the chamber's year, and emphasized their growing focus on business advocacy.
Garcia reminded the members and potential members of the opportunity to sell services to Google employees through their lifestyles perks program.
Ken Rosenberg was introduced as the new chair. Outgoing chamber members included Exceed Credit Union's Matt Butler and Mountain View Los Altos High School Union School District Superintendent Barry Groves.
