MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- After 24 years of service to Mountain View, City Attorney Jannie Quinn has announced that she will be retiring as of Aug. 2.
In a letter delivered to the City Council last week, Quinn noted with fondness her journey starting as a senior deputy attorney in 1995 and continuing as the first female city attorney for Mountain View in 2010.
“It has been my honor and privilege to serve as the city attorney and work on issues for the benefit of the Mountain View community,” Quinn remarked. “I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked with such a dedicated City Council and talented city staff over the years to solve problems and make a difference.”
