One-hour tours of the landfill will be conducted by volunteers from the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society. Frequent visitors to the area include great blue herons, great egrets, red-tailed hawks, mallards, pelicans and red-winged black birds. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring binoculars, a hat and sunglasses. Rain cancels.
