Google-City Address Climate Change At Monday Meeting

The city of Mountain View wants to tap into the tech giant's civic leadership program to come up with climate change solutions.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- The city of Mountain View and Google will be hosting a meeting Monday evening to discuss details of their partnership to help address climate change, according to city officials.

The city said that its work with the tech giant using its civic leadership program has streamlined the greenhouse gas inventory process. City officials said that has led to a better understanding of how to address strengths and weaknesses in the sustainability process.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the council chambers at 500 Castro St., second floor in Mountain View.
