Man Who Attempted To Pull Down Woman's Shorts Sought By Police
The victim was walking on Diericx Drive near Franklin Avenue in Mountain View on Monday when the man approached her, police reported.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Officers are looking to identify a man who attempted to pull a woman's shorts down while she was walking on Diericx Drive on Monday afternoon, the police department reported.
According to the police report, the 40-year-old Mountain View woman was walking eastbound on Diericx Drive near Franklin Avenue at 12:40 p.m. when an unknown suspect ran up behind her and attempted to pull her shorts down. The woman screamed, and the suspect ran away northbound on Franklin Avenue.
The victim described the suspect as a young male adult. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black and gray horizontal-striped shirt, black shorts and black shoes, standing about 6 feet tall.

When officers responded to the scene, they conducted an extensive area search, but were unable to find the suspect.
