Moffett Park Drive To Close Permanently For Traffic Fixes
The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety announced motorists may use Innovation Way instead.
SUNNYVALE, CA — As a part of the Mathilda Avenue project improvements at State Route 237 and U.S. Highway 101, Moffett Park Drive between Mathilda Avenue and Bordeaux Drive will be closing permanently starting on the evening of Aug. 1, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety reported.
This section is closing to prepare for the realigning of the westbound 237 off-ramp onto North Mathilda Avenue. The realigning will improve the traffic signal timing.
Motorists are advised to use Innovation Way, which has been signalized to better accommodate higher traffic volumes. Come this fall, the ramp realignment is due for completion.
