MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — A person was hit by a Caltrain car at the Mountain View station Tuesday night, transit officials reported.

The person was treated by paramedics and transported to the hospital with condition unknown at this time.

Train traffic was delayed for about a half hour as a result of the 7:47 p.m. incident at Evelyn Avenue, according to Caltrain. Trains were operating at maximum speeds after an hour had passed.
