Starbucks Offering 2-For-1 Holiday Drink Special Thursday-Sunday

Every so often, Starbucks runs a promotion that takes the sting out shelling out $4 or $5 for a drink.

Here’s the next one: Thursday through Sunday, you can buy one holiday drink and get one free between 2 and 5 p.m. The free beverage, of course, must be of equal or lesser value.

This year's holiday beverages include hot, iced or blended versions of Peppermint Mocha, Skinny Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnong Latte and Caramel Brulée Latte.

There are several Starbucks locations in Mountain VIew:

• Starbucks at 580 Rengstorff Ave.
• Starbucks at 750 Castro St.
• Starbucks at 809 Cuestra Dr.
• Starbucks at 2350 Charleston Dr.
• Starbucks at 1380 Pear Ave.
• Starbucks at 1037 El Monte Ave.
• Inside Safeway at 570 Shoreline Blvd and on 1750 Miramonte Ave.
